Welcome to my first issue of Cheez Spread, a military art and literary magazine. This issue chronicles a true story in my life as a Soldier in the Army National Guard.
Why the name, “Cheez Spread?” Based on my 17 years of experience in the Army National Guard, cheese spread is the most popular, sought-after snack in Army Meals Ready-to-Eat packages. Everyone loves cheese spread! Hence, the good-vibes name for this publication: Cheez Spread.
Limited-edition hardcopy prints will be distributed in downtown Fayetteville in Spring of 2024. An online PDF version will also be available for download here.
